California Online Home Business Opportunity

Should I move to California for work or stay in my hometown?

I’m 22 years old and I have an job opportunity (as a graphic designer) in California.. but am unsure if I should take it or not. I am from the east coast, so it would be a huge change moving out there. I am pretty established here: I have a boyfriend, condo that I just paid off (because I sold my online business in January), a dog, family, and lots of friends. However, I am currently unemployed since I sold my business and I am living off of savings. I do need a job.. but since I paid off my home loan I dont need to be making a LOT of money anymore.. just enough to pay bills… but don’t get me wrong I would LOVE to be making good money again. Also, I am very shy and have a hard time making friends.. so I could potentially be lonely and miserable in Cali and miss all my friends from home. Should I give Cali a try, or wait for an opportunity to arise closer to home? One more thing, I don’t have a college degree, so offers like this wont come around often for me.. help!!

This is the type of question that is easily over-thought. All are excited by a great adventure, but few places are better than home. Better to stay home and sell plants at WalMart, than be miserable elsewhere
